How Training Works

Hands-On Practice

Skills are learned through repetition and realistic scenario work, not lectures.

Certified Instruction

All training is delivered by authorized American Red Cross instructors and leads to nationally recognized certifications.

Youth-Led

Advanced members progress into instructor roles, mentoring the next generation of responders and building real leadership experience.

Beyond The Woodlands

The NBO Scout Training Team supports the BSA and American Red Cross national training agreement. We have assisted dedicated volunteers across the country in establishing American Red Cross based training programs for Scouts, and offer instructor-level training for all our program areas.

Crew 911 has been recognized in Scouting Magazine, the NESA Eagletter, and at the BSA University of Scouting for the unique service we provide to Scouting and our community.
